Cambridge vs Wrexham: TV channel, team news and predicted line ups
Wrexham travel to face Cambridge United on Tuesday night in a match that will have implications at either end of the League One table.
The Red Dragons maintained their hold on second place in the table thanks to a 2-0 victory over Exeter City at the weekend, while Cambridge are 11 points below the relegation line following a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town.
Road Warriors
For the longest time, Phil Parkinson’s men could seemingly do no wrong at the Racecourse Ground, posting a lengthy unbeaten run at home.
Lately they’ve been at their best as the visitors, winning six of their last seven league fixtures away from home, conceding just two goals over that term.
Coming to life
Both sides have players who’ve contributed seemingly out of nowhere after so many disappointing performances.
Jay Rodriguez, who many had questioned as a winter signing, has scored in back-to-back games to keep his side above Wycombe Wanderers by three points, though the latter have a game in hand.
Meanwhile we’ve seen a different side to Cambridge United’s James Brophy in recent outings with the winger scoring in consecutive matches, netting more goals over that stretch (two) than he had in his previous 197 league fixtures combined (one).
Playing rough
Wrexham and Cambridge have their share of aggressive players who aren’t afraid to throw in a challenge, even if it means conceding a free kick.
Ryan Loft of Cambridge leads the league in fouls committed per 90 (3.9), while Wrexham’s Steven Fletcher is seventh in that department (3.0).
The Red Dragons skipper James McClean doesn’t mind being overly aggressive either,as he is tied for fourth in League One regarding yellow cards. Wrexham are yet to have a player sent off in the league this season.

Team news
Andy Cannon remains a long way from returning to the Wrexham squad after tearing his cruciate ligament, Luke Bolton and Will Boyle are doubtful with calf strains, while Paul Mullin was once again not included in the Red Dragons team sheet last weekend.
Jordan Cousins suffered a hamstring strain in training and has been ruled out of the Cambridge squad for the remainder of the campaign, with Shayne Lavery missing last weekend’s fixture versus Northampton Town for that same reason.
