Millwall vs Wrexham: Team news, predicted line ups and TV channel

Wrexham travel to face Millwall in the Championship fixture.

Wrexham are still looking for their first league win of the new season as they travel to face Millwall at The Den on Saturday afternoon.

Phil Parkinson's side were much improved in their midweek win over Preston in the Carabao Cup but know they will need to be at their best to take anything off a Millwall side that defeated Sheffield United last weekend.

The Late Show

It has been a tricky start to the Championship season for Phil Parkinson as Wrexham manager. His side have dropped four points when leading in the second half of matches this season, failing to keep it together in the latter stages. Six of the seven goals they’ve conceded in the Championship occurred after the interval, four beyond the 80th minute.

A defeat or draw this weekend would mark their longest winless domestic run since Parkinson took charge.

Not on the level

This weekend marks the first meeting between these two sides since April 2001, while it will be Wrexham’s first visit to The Den since November 2000. None of the Lions’ last 16 league games ended in a draw, with Millwall winning 10 of those contests, their longest run without a tie since February 2009 (17).

Wrexham have been under considerable pressure from their opponents in the league this season and have faced 65 shots, the most of any team, and 15 more than the next closest side.
